This is a coffee run outfit at its finest. Was I awake? No. Not at all. Did I get a picture? Yes. The cable knit sweater was found at my second home, Value Village, a couple months back. The arms are MASSIVE but it’s the perfect lounging around the house piece. This coat though. This coat was a coming of age moment for me at the time of purchase.
November of Fourth Year (I hold onto clothing for quite some time if it isn’t already apparent) my family and I were heading to Boston for our family trip the weekend before my birthday! I totally lucked in that year. [You can checkout our 2018 Boston Trip Here]. My mother and I had ventured out to shop due to it being both of our birthdays in the new few weeks. I had a mission to find a beige/camel peacoat/overcoat. Didn’t matter where. By who. I wanted one. I couldn’t find anything around I wanted or anything that even looked similar to my vision.
Luckily Banana Republic saved the day. I LOVED this coat. It was totally a game changer for me and lil fashion jump for campus 2014. This poor thing has stood through hell with me tbh. Being bundled up in bar corners to large celebrations.
